Getting an air rifle from Dubai

I was really pissed off with the way they were just blatantly lying about the 100% duty, so as to extort their pound.

Next time, I'll carry an extra bottle of Black, dosed with something to get em running to the loos and graciously give it up to them.

And yes naga, thought of carrying one of those pen cams next time too. would be good to get em back.

I had a long talk with my dad on the entire episode and my wish to desire to pursue the matter further. He however said knowing our system and the fact that I have done the greasing the whole thing might backfire and make me the villain. I sort of realised that I had become a party to the crime at the time I was shelling out the grease but my circumstances at the time, just made me succumb and give in.

Whats your opinion on taking it further from the point of me being as what I think the authorities will see, a willing accomplice in furthering corruption

Hi everyone, tried taking a few pictures of the rifle but it doesn't do it any justice. How does one shoot good pics of rifles? If any one knows the angle distance etc do let me know cause the way I tried, either its too far away(in order to get the whole rifle in the pic) or its too close and you can only see 1/4 of the entire rifle.
Fired exactly 3 pellets today. 0.177 seems sooo smmalll after the 0.22 my weirauch 77 has been eating.
The anti recoil thingie seems to work well as no effect is felt upon firing.

ven99, they did see my rifle club card, but what I meant was that was secondary, their primary requirement was how much I settle at? Not worth the risk without a membership I feel. Atleast with that you have what is required officially , without it who knows what their demands will be.

Dear Ven, I am in Mumbai, and have absolutley noidea about the hyderabad rifle club. Maybe someone else can help you. What you can do, maybe, i am saying just maybe, get a cheaper gun like a gamo or something and try your luck, maybe it goes through and even if it doesn't the loss won't pinch you so much. But I still maintain, you have a beter chance with the rifle club membership. I wouldn't call my episode at the airport an achievement, rather a failure on my part to get it through the way i wanted, without duty .
