I would like to put down my results of using Chrono connect installed on ipad using 4 different pellets on IHP 35 in 0.177. Hope they are correct.
Distance of muzzle to target (wooden plank): 12 m and device placed midway.
G Smith Amateur flat head: 594, 664, 633, 615, 629 (fps)
G Smith High impact: 457, 469, 440, 449 (fps)
Precipell round head (8.2 gr): 612, 552, 578, 613 (fps)
Mastershot Pointed Export: 411, 426, 441 (fps)

Gsmith high impact is a heavy pellet (10.4 gr I think) and the fps is justified. They were very tight fitting in IHP and had very poor accuracy with IHP (I am an amateur, the problem could be me). Gsmith amateur and Precipell were found to be excellent for my IHP and could hit within 2 sq. inches most of the times. Mastershot pointed was loose fitting and hard pellets and were inaccurate mostly.

Najad, any comparison between chrono app vs chrono ballistic??
chrono ballistic is a different thing.
from the app description
"The Ballistic Chronograph app is for use with the Caldwell line of Ballistic Chronographs supporting a 3.5mm (TRRS) line-out serial port."

Dear Master,
The data seems to me quite close and convincing for an untuned IHP in 0.177.
I had written to Chronoconnect and he adviced me to keep the distance 10 mts for best results.
I use 9.1 mts between muzzle end and target and receive convincing data.
I keep the micro phone 1 mtr away fr muzzle end as suggested in youtube video.

Gentlemen,
> Appreciate your efforts in establishing the fps of your ARs....
> Agreed that "Chrono Set Ups" are prone to a 2% to 5% error in their readings....depending upon the ambiance where they are tested....
> Now the moot point is the "Type of Pellets" used in the ARs.....Are these Indian brands? If so inconsistency in their weights, shape & configuration can play a definitive role in the ARs final output.....
> IMHO - Get some recognized imported brands that are consistent in all respects & then test your ARs :D
> My personal experience was:
* Mastershot 14gr Round Heads produced - 575, 585, 605, 600, 590....
* RWS 14gr Round Heads recorded - 605, 600, 600, 610, 605....
* The AR was super tuned IHP35 (Samurai 3G) fitted with TW Chambers OX Accelerator Spring, Chromed Piston fitted with a PVC
* Thrust Bearing at its rear, TT Synthetic Seal, Neoprene O ring for breech Seal with metal shim underneath.
> BTW - The tests were done at Precihole factory using a highly sophisticated Chrono!
