Re: Which airgun should I buy?
Does anyone know the reason for the sudden shortage of the IHP?
Oh and AIMCO says that there is only one model of the IHP model 35. Anyone know what thats all about?
Lastly, AIMCO is asking for around 4900 for an IHP 35 .22 cal with shipping whereas the lowest I've been quoted in Mumbai is 5500 by Hassanand Hemandas and Co. Is it worth shelling out the extra money to get it from a dealer in Mumbai?
Oh, and have an Mumbai members bought either the AK AGNI 500 or any of the lesser known brands from a local dealer? Sorry if its been posted earlier, couldn't find the appropriate references.

Re: Which airgun should I buy?
Dear harshad,
I called up hassanand today and they confirmed the stock arival is within 2-3 days.. I had asked the price for IHP 35 .22 and they said its Rs. 5500 and IHP 35 .177 for Rs. 4800. Aimco asks for 4100-4200 for .177 but the cost of freight will make the cost near about the same. If you are willing to buy an IHP lets go to hassanand and bargain a bit. May be we can make a good deal together.

Re: Which airgun should I buy?
Sure, any time after the 11th of may is good for me. AIMCO is asking 4800 with shipping for a .22 - if Hassanand can sell it cheaper than that lets just get it from there.
Went to hassanand a couple of weeks ago when I was visiting a friend who literally lives next door. The salesman was REALLY unhelpful. Wouldn't volunteer any information, had to drag it out of him.
Saw a couple of UTA break barrels for around 3k and a Jimmy underlever for 6k.

Re: Which airgun should I buy?
I dont know what is in stake for me.. I was hoping that everything will be fine but its getting more tougher for me.. I had been following up wid Hassanand Hemandas & Co. for the past one week. Earlier they said that the IHPs are not available. it wil be available within a week. They had quoted me the price that M35 0.177 is for Rs. 4800 and m35 .22 for Rs 5500. I was happy about the price of 0.177..
Today, i mean just now i called those guys again and they confirmed the stock of IHP and quoted Rs 5500/- for .177 and Rs. 6000/- for a 0.22
definitely my budget is not more than 5k.. Now the only hope is once Aimco confirms the stock the cost of the same should not be more than what is mentioned in the website.. Otherwise that is going to be a tough time for me to decide whether i should go for IHP or else UTA...
Please advice whether the price quoted by H&H co. is genuine or is like they are making a fortune for the artificial scarcity.

Re: Which airgun should I buy?
In case of air rifles in India there's not too many models to choose from, I think I.H.P - 35 would be a good .22 caliber air rifle. Couldn't find a reliable source about FPS (more FPS is not better always) but experience on this forum shows they are decent air rifle.jignesh712712 wrote:.22 air rifel power full konsi hai jo gujarat me available hai.....which fps per second?????
Here's the address of I.H.P distributor in Gujarat (Taken from the official website)
M/s Target Traders,
Arms & Ammunition Dealers,
648, M. G. Road,
Dohad - 389 151.
Telephone
(Office) (02673) 246234 / 224340
(Residential) (02673) 246305
Also you can look around local gun shops and compare price and buy from the cheapest source. Please post in English from now on as all member here couldn't understand Hindi.
When I'll get to shoot a gun?

Before considering Diana 34, 350 Magnum or 460 Magnum, please keep in mind these guns are like big boys (Heavier, Kick Back Recoil)
If you are budget consious and want to use a Air Rifle just for target practise, I would prefer a HW30 or HW50.
