Re: HI EVERY ONE
Hi Babu...hmmm....now thats a piquant situation! U sold a nice RWS 54 & now u r looking at something else than a Candor..hmm...wud hate to be stuck like that!!
U gotta first be clear on:
1. What caliber r u looking at. If it's 0.22, then it's the grey market for u. But if it's 0.177, then the world's open for u.
2. U'll have to look up the threads or maybe chat up with browning coz he's fresh from the conquest!
Personally commenting: I have a 0.22 RWS 350 Magnum. It's a great gun. I have fired the RWS 460 in 0.22 & also had a HW80 (for abt 3 days before my cousing eyed it & took it with him
). Still waiting for it to come back....n thats gonna be eternity. Since all the one's that I have owned / used are in 0.22, it was the grey market purchase tht was used.
Cheers!

Re: HI EVERY ONE
Hi Browning...following are the bucks paid:
1. RWS 350 Magnum, 0.22 cal - 38k+2k for the delivery bit. It was a lucky rate coz the prevailing rate at tht time in the market was 45k.
2. RWS 460 & 54 in 0.22 cal were selling for 48k each (about 2 months ago. Latest price is 55k)
3. The HW80 in 0.22 I got for 33k+2k for the delivery. That's the one which my cousin took from me & i really wish he's reading this!!!
All the prices are for brand new, full powered rifles in 0.22 cal.
Cheers!

HI EVERY ONE
HI EVERY ONE
i spoke to A GENTLE MAN FROM(gsmith)yesterday, he told me that he is the only authorised person to enter a gunfactory for inspection, so he assured me of the best weapon without any defects.
he told me that 460 magnum is less powerfull than rws54 air king, which is untrue as per technical specification provided by piramid air and other sites.
whats the difference bet rws54 and rws54airking.? is ther any version or subcatogory in 460 which is less power full than 54rws?. or is there a new verson called 54rws air king?
i m very confused bet 54 and 460,
SEE i hve jus entered the sport of airgunning and i am still into the process of learning
tellme bout 460rws, and will it accept scope without breaking? i jus baught a brand new walther 3-9x40 scope AND i wanna b sure b4 fixing.
he also told me that the mount costs INR 6k, IS IT SO COSTLY?
I AM NOT USED TO IMPORTING FROM PYRAMID AIR .
PLZZ I NEED UR VALUABLE ADVICE
REGARDS

Babu,
I realise you are new to online forums hence may not be aware of the expectations as far as online etiquette (netiquette) is concerned. Just to get you started - I would suggest reading the following 2 pages:
http://www.blackwidows.org.uk/clients/imp-guide/forums/
http://www.blackwidows.org.uk/clients/i ... /tips.html
Meanwhile I've merged two of your threads (on the same topic) into one thread.
Look forward to your future co-operation.
Cheers!
Abhijeet

Re: SPOKE TO KULKARNI
babu,
please do yourself and us a favour and use the search facility in the left column. you will find honest opinions on both mr kulkarni and his words, diana "magnum" airguns, dianas in general, and springer scopes. you might find the answer to why dianas and their so called magnum range don't float the boat of many serious airgunners here
if you start repeating questions asked before, you get pitifully few replies.

Re: HI EVERY ONE
Firstly, the scope you have will not survive the recoil of either of the two rifles you have shortlisted. That scope is best suited for rifles with a very mild or no recoil such as a .22lr rimfire or compressed air/gas airguns.ABABUJAY";p="45077 wrote:tellme bout 460rws, and will it accept scope without breaking? i jus baught a brand new walther 3-9x40 scope AND i wanna b sure b4 fixing.

As for the cost of mounts, ask the seller for the brand name and specs and then do a web search. Once you have done that you can decide whether or not you are being taken for a ride.
One of the member's will be putting his Diana 52 (.22" cal.) on sale shortly and whilst it is a used rifle, it comes with a Venom FAC kit, Uncle Mike QD sling swivels, leather sling, scope mount and a brand new scope. The price will be competitive.
