Unless you have really strong arms or shoot very sparingly, you will also require a compressor to fill any PCP.Metallica wrote:Also what is the cost of cheap handpumps for px 100... and do i need to bjy any other accessories for air filling?

What is the cost of compressor and do you need to be that strong?
And is scuba tank reusable? How do you refill scuba tank?

Any decent compressor from a western country would cost upwards of 70-80k in India.Metallica wrote:What is the cost of compressor and do you need to be that strong?

Chinese compressors may be had for about 30-35k including import taxes etc.
Regarding strength, pls ask anyone about the state of their arm muscles after filling a 500cc tank to 200 bar with a pump!
Tanks are tanks - they are meant to be refilled when empty - with a compressor!

Alternate is lowering the power of the gun .
Then the nos.of shot per fill will increase.

Pls understand what the terms pump, compressor and tank mean before you decide what to buy.Metallica wrote:If we buy a compressor then do we need a pump?anyone here who fills the pump with a compre

A pump is a like a bicycle pump, the compressor is like the 'air machine' that the puncture shop chap uses to fill your bike tyres. And the tank is like an LPG cylinder, only with air filled in it and at a much higher pressure.. I hope this makes things clear for you.
Added in 2 minutes 1 second:
But eventually that tank will run out of juice and will suck the life out of the 'human' doing the pumping...Basu wrote: Alternate is lowering the power of the gun .

Both aarmr and precihole pcp has their pros and cons.Aarmr will not be out of air and precihole pcp will not have recoil. Both the pros comes with the costs.

One could technically fill a truck tyre with a pump when no other option exists... But would you do it a few times every day?Metallica wrote:I dont think it is that difficult to fill the precihole with a hand pump..

Just shared own experience. Choice is obviously yours to make.
