Hi,
Buy from AIMCO. The quoted price is rs9950 + shipping (rs500).

@Bennedose ,mercury and Brihaji

I bought a pack of aimco round heads and a pack of gs smith round head from JoyBiswas .To my utter surprise, I must say the groupings have improved !! .I am looking forward to the precihole pellets to effect further improvements .Would post pics in a couple of days .

I inquired with Mr Biswas about the same but he said Precihole folks were here yesterday but never mentioned pellets !! He was unaware of any such plans .

I had also the chance to handle the nitro piston NX series sample the precihole guys have left behind .I must say i felt a super smooth cocking effort .I happened to enquire if the dropin nitro piston (Approximate cost 2500 )can be used in my Orion.Do my surprise he said its not advised as there is a certain mould for the NS piston to fit in ..@Brihaji whats your take on this ?

Any suggestion of light weight (14 to 15.5 gr) imported pellets which might give further improved results with my Orion??

Jatindra GSmith pellets are 1.1 grams and AIMCO are 750 mg. So the grouping will be different for both and will require adjustments of sights. I find that I need to expend at least 20-25 pellets before I can adjust sights to my liking, but then my preferred shooting posture is standing/artillery. AIMCO will give you vicous muzzle velocity from the Orion, enough to puncture both sides of some tin cans at 10 meters (and more) . GSmith on the other hand is good for shooting at 20 to 25 meters. It will still make punctures in cans at that range.

Hi Jatindra,
> The answer to your queries....
> I think we are all jumping the gun a bit....we are only discussing & assessing till date....
1. As of now "Nitro Piston" will not be available as a spare part for fixing (converting from spring to Nitro Piston) in existing
Precihole ARs.
> ARs with Nitro Piston as OE will only be marketed at present.
2. Precihole pellets will soon be available in the market - initially they will be 15gr in 0.22cal Round Heads...
3. This will be followed up with 0.177 cal (details yet to be known)
4. Re: imported pellets you may go in for RWS / JSB - but these are far too expensive... its your choice if you can afford them.
> Personally also as Bennedose has reveled thro' his exhaustive tests - Precihole pellets are as good as imported ones...

@ brihaji that was comprehensive ..Thanks ! @Bennedose If I sight the Orion scope for the Aimco light but snug fit pellets ,with the same setting the GS smith rount head hit one inch low..Thanks to you and Brihaji for suggesting Aimco and GS smith round head .From the initial looks of it I am enjoying the flying deepawali diyas off the boundary walls !! Tested on 25 -30 mtrs targets and my confidence on the Orion has been sufficiently restored !

Hi guys,

Am new to the world of air rifles; I bought a Precihole Polaris and have fired around a 200 shots now; am impressed with the accuracy of this rifle: She really likes the Precipell round-heads and Excite Match pellets. Seems to hate the Master Shot pointed ones though: these pellets were all over the target.

I however noticed a problem today with the rest(*) sights:they have loosened quite a bit and are quite shaky. :( Could the gurus guide me with setting the sights right, please?

Thanks,
Shashi

* Edit: typo - it is "rear".

Someone posted a great video that advises one to check the screws of your springer air rifle. I need to tighten 2-3 screws on my Orion by about half a turn after every 15 to 20 shots. I bought a set of hexagonal screwdrvers just for that - the Orion needs 4 different sizes.

Thank you! That worked: tightened the screws on the rear sights. I applied a drop of fevi-kwik before tightening, of course (the Precihole customer support lady recommended that).

Why dont you use Fevifit-33 from Pidilite, Rs 20-25/- a bottle.
Just put a drop on threads of the screw and tighten.Let it cure for 24 hours. It will be perfect after curing.

DO NOT USE MORE, YOU MAY FIND IT DIFFICULT TO UNSCREW.

I have already used Fevi-Kwik and the screws seem to holding tight for now, but will keep a bottle of Fevifit-33 handy for future; Thank you, Basu sir.
