I had the opportunity of trying out three Precihole Clubs. In every case the safety was manual. You disengage it by pushing the shoe away from you and engage it by pulling it towards you.

It is manual. Not automatic. I had an old Weihrauch HW 35 that had an automatic safety but it became maual after 20 years

[quote="bennedose"]The safety lever of my Orion (or the Pegasus vesrions in KSRA) do not engage automatically. They have to be engaed manually by pulling it back like the trigger. It is released by pushing it forward.

Thanks Sir !! I will not worry about it then :)

Jason

One minor whine about the Orion. Its powerful spring ensures that the holding screws become loose after just 40 or 50 shots (on my rifle). On the Orion these screws are hexagonal Allen screws of three different sizes. The ones on the side of the rifle require a 2.5 mm Allen screwdriver. There is one just behind the trigger guard and that requires a 3 mm Allen screwdriver. And one tricky one within the trigger guard holding the trigger itself requires a 1.5 mm Allen screwdriver. That means if you own an Orion you must have these three sizes of Allen screwdrivers handy. It would be a nice touch if these were supplied along with the rifle.
