LOL Thanks! In fact this is exactly what I have done - but I decided to use Araldite instead of a weld because it does not involve stripping down the rifle and taking it to the local workshop for a weld. Let me see how it works. Will post pics when it's done and will post if it succeeds or fails

And one more small info..... regarding this kind of work i too have done it. And Araldite din't long last. Better to weld it.
If you plan to weld a Nut to the receiver.... make sure that you screw the bolt inside and then move on to welding process. (This is a tricky stuff... Contact any experienced GAS welder for this job)
If you don't follow this while heating the Thread in the nut will collapse due to Heating.

Regards.

Retune my IHP with
1) polish compression chamber with my DIY flap wheels
http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=21315
2) Target Tune syntactic piston seal with moly grease
3) Prechihole Spring
4) Shim spring guide with electrical tape
5) I have very heavy (thick) silicon grease which I applied on spring to reduce spring vibration
6) Polished trigger sear with 800 grit sand paper & applied moly grease
7) Clean the barrel with GAMO .177 bronze bore brush & J-B non-embedding bore cleaning compound

Fire around 200 shot not chrono the rifle but I feel power is less around 650 fps mainly due to Prechihole Spring but it very smooth to shoot
Trigger become very nice now I feel Pegasus trigger hard compare to IHP

Just after 30-40 shot I am getting ½ inch group at 20 yards using my FT setting position

Posting my today’s grouping at 30 Yards with FT setting position

Hi Pratik,
> Good grouping :D
> It just goes to show that using proper spares & tuning can achieve both accuracy & smoothness in shooting....
Happy Shooting!!!!

Today I chrono my IHP 35 .177 it shooting Master shot yellow at 640 FPS after seating pellet deep in barrel & 545 FPS normally
Posting some of my today’s grouping at 30 yards with different types of pellets

Shooting position FT setting without any support
Scope – Center Point 4-16x40 using 12X for shooting

Master shot yellow Box Flat Head
3 pellets grouping is ½ “but 2 shot went ½ “left

Master shot Green Box Flat Head
Again 3 pellet grouping is ½” I was very excited with the grouping & in that excitement next two shot went up & right side so I took one more shot which was close to first three
MS yellow & Green.jpg
RWS Diabolo Basic 7.0 Grain Flat Head
First shot went up right side but next three again on bulls eye fifth shot went up

Air Arms Diabolo Field 8.4 Grain Round Head
I can say I was very consistence this time grouping is less than 1”
RWS & AA.jpg
H&N Field Target Trophy 8.64 Grain Round Head
This time first two shot went very up I was surprise with the result because it was the heaviest pellets off all & I thought it will hit low next four shot grouping was less than 1” over all 1 ½” not bad
H&N.jpg

As per the result my IHP is doing well with all the pellets :D
only I need to practice a lot especially on my concentration which I lose after first few shots

At 30 yards this is a very good grouping......
Nice shooting !
May be Master Shot yellow box is good in Indian pellets.
And Airarms pellets if zeroed will be a good choice i think.
