Side play in IHP triggers

Post by pkjeetesh » Thu Jan 01, 2009 2:45 pm

Friends ...there is a lot of side play in these IHP triggers....how to arrest it..does it affect accuracy..even if we manage a near straight pull...

Thicken the trigger at yellow part shown in the picture. Material added should be of same thickness on both sides & there shoud be a fraction of gap between cylinder groove & trigger to avoid any possible friction.
Hope this trick works. If not then I have one more trick which is foolproof.

Dear, those parts I mentioned have to be welded on the trigger & not supposed to be used as mere washers.
I am sure that you will not need to anything more but still I let you know the other way around. The other trick is little complicated where you have to place spring & washer on trigger pivot in such a way that trigger remains compressed in the center.

Hi there, air devil.
Your mods show that you have a keen eye for minor details in the weapon.
That's a great thing. Thanks for an answer which will benefit all IHP air rifle users.
