Panther_645, duplicate posts will not get you more answers/replies. It will, matter of fact, reduce your chances.
I suggest you search the several topics on this forum. This has been discussed time and again, and no one probably has time to restart from basics...

Panther the two threads have been merged... please read up the two links contained in the welcome PM you received when you signed up here. Good material on "netiquette" there.

TenX, thanks for pointing out the duplicate threads :)

Cheers!

Mack The Knife my friend recently got a CZ scope 6X40 (which i duly purchased from him), a telescopic fishing rod and some other petty items via post from UK.
Now this was not shipped from the company directly but his friend posted them to him from there.
This parcel landed up in Chennai the reason given was that Bangalore customs had their hands full. The Chennai customs opened the parcel inspected it and sent it to him. All this took about 2 weeks but the parcel did reach him without any hassles.
So i guess its just a matter of trying it out.

DHL was the courier used.

I use a Daisy 4x32 scope on my Sisco .22 its just 10$ and i havent had any issues with that at all.

:-) i do agree, luck had a bigg hand in it. after his experience i was tempted to try and import a scope via courier but never had the "lady luck impulse" to do so.
