Hi Shahid...bulls eye! (pun intended)

right u are! Picked up all variety, excepting the Umarex. That keeps my dream of laying my hands on the others, especially the Beeman Kodiak extra heavy, unfulfilled for the time being. Do all the varieties of pellets come to Dubai or does it depend on what the local flavor is & hence limited choices?
Abhijeet, I have used the Master shot pellets too. If I remember, they were the pointed & the wad cutter variety that I have used. Do not recall if they were the export consigmment though. The groupings were quite good (at about 20 mtrs of shooting distance) but the pellets were light. What prices for these are quoting your side of the country?
Cheers!

Beeman pellets ( most types ) are actually H & N.
In Dubai there is no consistency in what pellets you might get at a time.
But for Targeting H & N Diablo SPort and for field use H & N Field Trophy are always available so are Gamo Pro Magnum, and Gamo Hunter.
Off and on some other keep coming and dissappearing.
I use H & N Hollow point in my HW 80, but it is out of stock for the last 3 months here.
If imported by mail order then 10 tins of 500 cost $ 65 and the courier charges are $ 75. Not a good idea at the moment.
Thus for targeting I am useing H & N Diablo and use the Thhree tins of Hollow Point still left for hunting only. But as it is with back to back desert outdoor activities I hardly get any time for shooting my air rifles till the season ends in April.

This response is on a relatively different subject. I was looking for CO2 airpistols in Dubai - such as Umarex/Walther CP99 and/or Umarex/Colt 1911. I checked with both Sayad(s). The Al-Sayad at Maktoum, though has some of this Umarex stuff available, but he is probably not permitted to sell them to individuals. Is there some sure-shot outdoor equipment retailer in Dubai where i can pick up Umarex CO2 airpistols ?

At the moment ( temporarily subject to further orders ) sales of CO2 pistols is banned. However gas cartridges / ammo / consumeables for existing owners is permitted to be sold. So are repairs and service allowed.

Shahid, if you don't mind i have another question. Is the airgun sale also prohibited to foreign citizens, for example, if i show my India passport, will i be able to purchase one ?

As per Dubai law,the Air guns are considered as a Sports Exsercise Equipment and are licese free.
I am Bulgarian Citizen myself and Have 12 rifles and 15 pistols bought from the Camping Equipment Shops of Al Sayad Trading LLC.Everyone is alawed to step in inone of the 3 shops of the Company and to spend as much as he want.
I took with me 3 rifles to Bulgaria and had no any problems with dubai Airport security or Customs Authorities.
I just Dismantle the Unit, wrap the parts with srink wrap tape and put them in the check in bagage.
Customs just asked me to show the original ivoice from the deal, and the name of the buyer to match to my passport data.Real difficulties I faced when I land in BG.But thisis other story.
Cheers
