I am not sure about this courier thing.. Definetely not Al Sayad, those guys are barely educated. In there they prefer cash, though they do have a credit card validator at both stores. Captain stores takes cash only. There is a long road ahead.

Although some very interesting hunting asserories and quite cheap, hunting and camping equipment is on sale right now. Worth a visit.

Shopped there for two hours yesterday.

Went hunting with the HW 80 today. Deadly on feral piegeons. Bagged quite a few today. A fellow shooter with his Diana 36 couldn't bag any as most shots were over 35 yards.

Either he was aiming bad or the heavy Webley Lazapell pellets he was firing were dropping. Cross wind was heavy today.

Also his shot placement accuracy was low as there was no scope on his Diana 36.

In the HW 80, the Gamo Pro Magnum 16 grain pellets did extremely well. When you fire the HW 80, the thump of the hit, the recoil and the sound of the pellet through the Air, befor and after hitting the game ( if it exits ) gives rim fire like feeling.

Today being a Saturday weekend, we were at it again. The HW 80 got me a brace of partridges and they are being marinated for cooking right now.

Hi All,
A chap i know is willing to sell his Diana Mod 25 .22 for 6000/- will that be a good buy???
Havent had a very good look at it but it seems to be in good condition other than - there is a little gap in the breech area and im sure that can be fixed by a gunsmith.
Age of the gun is unknown and would seem to be well over 20 years. Sights are original.
Stock is in good condition.

Your thoughts please.

Price sounds okay for India. Check the breech for leakage.

Last week during a plinking session in the desert I did try a Diana 25 borrowed from a friend in .177 calibre. It feels good, shoulders well and is fairly accurate ( Iron sights )

The challenge was to hit the neck of a Beer bottle and break it at 20 yards, well it performed this plinking challenge quite well.

I would say go for it, its a decent price.

This is my vintage Diana Mod. 25 in .177 cal., but I also have another in .177 cal. designated 25D ("D" for Diopter, which it accepts on its scope rail), as well as a Winchester Mod. 425 in .22 cal., which is csoped with a Zeiss 2.5x scope.

These are classic air rifles for accurate, tame and low-noise 10m-to-35m distance all day round fun.
