Help me identify this AR

Post by Zulfikker » Thu Dec 12, 2019 6:09 pm

Dear all ,

I have seen a almost new AR .177 Cal Springer . Make : Lion & Lion , Model 95 . Overall length 1450 mm, fitted with Peep sight . Awesome soft trigger but no safety. Full wooden butt with pellets holder chamber in handle . Somehow looks like SDB Magnum .As per the present owner , AR was used a decade ago & max pellets of complementary still available with this AR .After passing away of her husband it was kept aside .
Now,
1) will u pls suggest me what vil b the price range for it as a pre owned AR ?
2) I don't have much knowledge about AR , so somebody pls provide me the spec of this AR .

Try to attach pic if possible from my phone. Nah, always shows error . File size large. :(

Waiting for your suggestions .

Dear Z,
I can not recall any review of Lion & Lion on this forum.
However this looks like this model is inspired by Diana 35.
I am surprised to note the softness of trigger.
Either this is used for a long time and main spring got softened with time.
What is your budget ?
Based on that I might suggest you accordingly.

Yes. True. Lion brand Air guns are freely available in Kanpur. Meerut and other places of UP. I saw one in .22 in 2017 but the dealer himself said that this brand has a problem with accuracy .
He told me at that time. These guns are made in kolkata.

Trigger is really awesome.
Corking Effort :14 KG approx . I can't capture the shots bcoz it's really a trying task for me to perform both at a time . I measured it by using spring balance Range upto 100 kg.

M also providing a snapshot of group testing , using different pellets ( MSC - Magnum Wadcutter , G.Smith - Steel Head, United S- Round, Accura { Re-used} ) distance max 12 m .

Thanks

I don't know about the manufacturer but it is definitely M95 Model. New one will fetch a price around 3k. I have seen this model both in SDB & Can-non.
I always liked the pellet storage facility in this model.

Worth not more than 3k. Although I assume you need to change spring and washer.Anyway it is a direct trigger, hence I recommend you to avoid it and choose between precihole and SDB xena.Accuracy is more important for a gun.Even you can get a precihole vx100 for 7k
With regards,
