Are national level shooters exempted from paying the 18% GST rate while importing an air rifle?
I am buying a gun from a distributor who is using some shooter's card and also charging the GST fom me.
I am a bit skeptical about that.

Re: Regarding GST rates for air rifles
I think the 18% is nothing compared to all those selling for 3.5x of actual price
for example Benjamin Maximus Air Rifle is listed in pyramydAir for 229.99 USD equals to 15,665.77 INR + 18% GST 2819.83 INR = 18485.60 INR & thats quite good, even if they charge extra 10,000 INR for shipping or custom handling its only 28485.60 INR cheaper than Precihole PX100.
and the rifle i mentioned for example was listed in https://kiehberg.in for 53,690 INR.
