can we use plastic BB's to our pellet air rifle

hello friends and Guru's,

I would like to know, wether we can use plastic BB's which are are available online to pellet air rifle. was that ok with the rifled nozzle of the air gun. Any pro's and con's please show some light in this matter

Yes you can use it (only in pcp).

Ok sir , that means if I brought new SDB Sport I can't fire plastic BB's then...

Any one used BB's in their springer, doe's it causes damage to the rifled barrel

Yes a steel BB can harm the rifling. Lead BBs are used in such rifles.

Which kind of plastic BB are you referring to? The common 6mm(airsoft) version found online won't even fit the breach of a .22(5.5mm) air rifle.

4.5mm plastic BBs are available abroad which'll fit .177 ARs. 5.5 mm balls are available too but they're not made for sports but plastic industry.

Better buy an airsoft rifle, which is made for shooting plastic bb
