Hello! I have added two air rifle and a pistol to my collection since I last posted on this forum. In chronological order the first one is BAM B50 in .177, a Chinese clone of the famous Daystate Huntsman. I chose this air rifle because I read reviews of it and most of them rated it as first class Chinese PCP rifle rivalling PCPs three times its price (I got it for $309 including postage!). I had it tuned for 900fps. I am pleased to say it’s everything it was supposed to be in accuracydepartment. It is a tack driver up to 50 meters, I cut pencils and pens in half regularly at that range using JSBs Exacts 10.34gr. My only gripe is that it has no pressure gauge.
The second air rifle was the result of me getting a bit tired of filling up my PCPs and I also wanted to top off my collection with something classic. Hence, Air Arms TX200 MKIII. It’s been two months and about 500 shots now and I still can’t get enough of it. To me, it’s like buying a Rolls Royce of Air Guns. It’s simply a great spring air rifle! Though a bit on heavy side.
