Information about Gift Industries Air guns

Post by Vivek.anand » Sat Nov 22, 2014 10:19 pm

I would like to start the thread by saying that i am in no way associated with Gift Industries or any of their dealers. I just inquired on behalf of a friend and want to promote Indian Producers and this information is being shared for the benefit of fellow members.

So i was really confused about the various models produced by this lesser known manufacturer and contacted them through facebook and got the following reply.
They manufacture the following models of air guns. While all of them are rated at a 100 mtr range, the major differences are with respect to design and the type of wooden finish offered. While the model 300 and 500 are "double barrel" ( i did not completely understand this point, i think they are side lever).
They also tell me that they ship air guns to various states in India.

They produce probably highest quantity as a single manufacturer in West Bengal.
Perhaps the above rates are for dealership enquiry.

I had a telephonic conversation with them, I was informed that they can send the guns but only for the order of minimum of 10 guns. We also need to provide VAT number to them.

As milind already has written, the minimum order is 8-10, which the manufacturer will entertain at these prices.

The information here sounds like a manufacturer trying to get a dealer quoting wholesale prices and no details - leaving the dealer to make his own margin. This info should really go in the Yellow pages thread dedicated for such information
http://indiansforguns.com/viewforum.php?f=41

100 meters range is a half lie. Pellets will travel more than 100 meters but their accuracy and power will be suspect.

No one does 100 meter target shooting with air rifles, and hunting is illegal in any case, let alone the theory of whether enough power and acuracy will exist at 100 meters.
