first gun advice
Hi friends .
Please advise
I am totally new to the shooting world. ..
Long back in my school days . I was trained for .22 and 303 in Ncc
But due to life matters wasn't able to take interest further. ...
I want to start my career back not in Olympics but just be a good shooter ...
Need advice
1 the place where I live don't have shooting ranges.
Can I practice at home ?
2 as of now I have. 22 Heman air pistol
Should I continue it or take a new one
3 money is a bit of concern but I will manage to save whatever amount it takes but will like to start slow.
So which gun as a novice I should buy .
4 should I buy it online or somewhere at shop ...
Please help ...
Thanks

Parvez Bhai Tell us what you would want to spend on the pistol. The range could be anywhere between 10 k to 150,000 rs for an air pistol. For pinking you could import yourself a rifled barrel Walter ppq m2 pellet pistol or a HK P30. For match grade pistols anywhere between a Baikal for 50k to a steyr for 150,000
Nothing has shaped the history more than a Gun

Which city are you from ? I can sell my IHP35 in .177 to you if you promise to take good care of it and if you can collect it from me.

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Are you looking at AP or AR ? You can use AR/AP (*not* firearms) at home if you could set aside that zone with due safety measures in place. Make sure your pellet stopper has the potential to stop pellets of greater power that what would be expended and prevents ricochet. You could go for lower power AR like IHP N25 or N35 or PH Club if your intended shooting zone is say around 10m. You could go for IHP's .177 break-barrel or CO2 or PCP (this will last you through competitions should you pursue that angle) pistols or await PH's break barrel nitro-piston pistol if you are willing to wait 3-4 months. SAFETY RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED EVEN AT HOME - you can get them from Laskhya's site or search for fantumfan2003's posting on the topic on this forum. Good Luck and safe shooting.
