Guys ,

I was attending a international seminar on NM in Indonesia 2 years back and on my last day tried to look arround and came upon this guy with a decorated bamboo stick in hand , I was bit curious and upon closing up on him i saw that it was a blowpipe.

i asked him if it works and promptly a barb with cotton blob at one end and sharp tin point on the other was shoved in and with a quick and hard puff the barb was sent flying to embed in a palm tree at a distance of 5-6 feets , i was impressed bargaining was forgotten ,

enclosed are some pics of this amazing piece , the orginal air weapon of human kind still used by the rainforest dwelling tribals to get there meat from the jungle supermarts.

Great looking pieces. Every time I go into Cabelas or BassPro, I see those around but they're not as good looking as yours. Mostly it is plastic stuff. Maybe I'll give one a try, you just inspired me.

These weapons of the past were devised to assist man in his baisc needs , I was thinking about it this weekend as i was watching the KUNGU PANDA with my daughter , the hard htting part was how the joy giving cloourfull fireworks was ill-developed to become fire belching weapon of mass destruction .

i feel the guys in the youtubeclip shared by Briha are far better human beings ,
