"sugru" may not work as no portion of the grip can be "soft". It was hard for me to interpret based on ISSF etxt, so checked with a person from MRA who carries out Weapon Control during matches in MH. Had to remove the rubber strips I had attached earlier. See the white vertical mark left from earlier experiments ? That's from the rubber strip. Wood putty/ m-seal (hardened) and saw dust with fevicol are OK. Will get my hands on saw dust after the rains (since most wood work has stopped here) or will try to get the wood putty. Can you please post the link of the product you ordered from amazon ?
