HELP NEEDED FROM KOLKATA MEMBERS!!

I wanted to purchase a cannon LG65 rifle from the olympic sports[behind lal bazar police station],kolkata.since they are the manufacturers of the rifle its ain't available in south india.i tried ringing them over the phone and i even mailed them.but i didnt get any response from them .hoping that any of our fellow members in kolkata may help.i can deposit the total amount of the rifle and it can be sent to my place through GATI services.It wont take much of effort as i heard that the rifles are available for take away at the olympic sports.Awaiting to hear from you

I have also been wanting to buy one Cannon LG 65 and I also talked to Olympic Sports.

In the past I was approached telephonically by an IFGian from Kolkata to have his imported air pistol delivered to me at my address at Gurgaon, because he was having some delivery probem locally. I readily agreed and requested him for his kind intervention/ reciprocation by buying the Cannon 65 model on my behalf and sending this through Gati on full advance payment. He did agree amicably at first, but in the interim period he has received his pistol and so the matter was forgotten.

I am trying to locate a friend at Kolkata, who would readily extend this favor to me. You can try this also if you happen to know someone or have a friend at Kolkata. He can simply buy this gun ex stock have it sent by Gati road transport.

I doubt if this method would also work, as the response from Olympic Sports is not very positive. Mr. Das says that they will have to check if the stock is available and will ask your friend to call back later.. The same response is given everytime whenever someone from CCU calls them
