Hi Folks,
I have read a lot of threads, which only confused me more.
I am looking for a piece which fits the below criteria.
1. Air Pistol (not rifle) easily available in India. Don't want to import.
2. Need it for Target practice and possibly participate in competitive shooting.(Accuracy important)
3. Budget around 5-6k, can stretch a little.
4. Currently I am located in chennai, no rifle club memberships. So,if I have to pick the gun up, I can do it only in chennai. or online ordering would be preferable, if I can.
Also, does the company give a certificate saying its not a regular gun, how do I deal with cops if I get caught with it in my luggage( I frequently travel by road across states, and get checked for drinks etc once in a while)?
I also need a case for this. What do you guys generally use for its protection?
Looking for some gyan by bigshots.
TIA
Krishna aka TVR

Re: Which Air Pistol should I buy?
Dear krishna,
As far as I have seen many topics posted by many knowledgeable personnel associated with this royal sport of shooting if you can accept my suggestion then I may say CO2 pistol are ideal for 10m shooting the CO2 cylinder are available locally and they are refillable also.
Or else in this forum their is a topic which gun should I buy?
Rather I would like suggest you go through the mentioned topic before you go to any armory to buy an air pistol and some web site are there also they are imparting training to go for guns if you are a new user, but if you google in this site it self you will get know many things about this sport.
compressed air pistols are also there but I can't comment on the quality that you are going to get from IHP as I have never fired any compressed air pistol made by IHP.
