My experience in buying a new diana 350magnum T06 version

Post by raj329 » Thu Sep 23, 2010 12:03 am

Dear all IFG Members,
On september 1st started a topic "WANTED DIANA 350 magnum or 54 air king or 52" in our wanted section please click the following link to view the post
http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10829
i got many replys via my PM from various members , some where asking ridiculously high price even for .177 cal models .then on 11th september i got a reply on my post from one mr simson "I have brand new 350 Magnum Diana box peace, this is in Mangalore Karnataka. Interested call me Simson Gun house 09845406483" so i contacted him on phone the same day evening and over phone he told me that he has a brand new .22cal DIANA 350 magum with box for sale and the price he quoted over the phone is more reasonble than prices i got in my PM or i saw in FOR SALE posts in our forum so i told him i will directly come to his shop as soon as possible (it is more than 12 hrs journy in train to his place from where i live) and he must hold the gun un till i come there and he promised he will not sell it till i come there. i fixed to get there by 21st of this month and reservation was made for the train tickets .on 19th i saw a negative review about him in our forum and i called him over phone then he told me that if i have even a minute doubt about the quality of his product he will pay for my entire expence for the journy from my place to his shop, i was satisfied with his reply ,i and my brother reached simsons gunhouse mangalore on 10.15 am 21-9-10 and i was amazed to see the quality and quantity of stock he kept there, each varity of fire arms where kept on seperate racks and any one who wishes to buy one can select one from more than a dozens pieces of each type ,Mr Simson was there and he was happy to see me he told me that he has more than 500 pieces of fire arms on stock at any time, then he showed me the .22 diana 350 magnum and box i was more happy to find that it is a 2010 T 06 version which has improved all metal trigger system than the T 05 version which has plastic trigger.i test fired the gun i wass impressed by the power and acurracy of the 350 magnum, then we discussed about the price ,he told me since i was the first coustmer he got from IFG he will give me a nice discount over the price he mentiond over the phone and if i had any doubt about the quality or make of the rifle even after some time after the deal he will take his product back and will pay me the excat amount i paid for it. after settiling the deal he invited us for lunch with him in his house which we happly accepted ,then he told one of the sales men to show us all around the shop we saw different varites of imported and indian shot guns , rifles ,pistols etc one of the racks has only imported make fire arms .we saw security cameras all over the place recording live .by 1.30 pm he took us to his house he introduced us to his family ,we had our lunch with him ,by 3 pm he personally droved us in his car to the railway station which was roughly 25 km from his house .we thanked him for his hospitality, he treated us well like we are his family .
i will post the pictures of the rifle later
if any one has doubt what is the difference between 350 magnum T05 and T06 please click this link
