Re: Help required !! Regarding Crosman 357W airgun revolver
Hello all respected board members,
I have noticed, Pyramid Air sell Crosman 357W airgun revolver. This is a CO2 Based. My question is - Is Co2 Based revolver legal in India ? There is any shop in India, where i can buy this product. I have send a mail to the company but they clearly do not tell anything. If it is available in India Please give me the store address. Also, i have some other questions regarding this product -
1. Does it fire steel Bolls or pellets like traditional air guns ?
2. I have uploaded a video, in this video, the person put some chemical into the Co2 Cylinder, what is the chemical ? and how it works ?
3. If the product is available, can i get all the accessories from those stores and can they deliver the product into my home using any postal like services ?
Here is the Video Link -

Waiting for your reply.
Thanks & Regards

Re: Help required !! Regarding Crosman 357W airgun revolver
Hi David,
Just read your post about the Crossman 357W. As far as I know, Co2 based air pistols and revolvers of 0.177 cal. are legal in India to possess. There are a few shops in India which deal in CO2 pistols but particularly this Crossman product is going to be difficult for you to find. They usually have Beretta 92FS and Walther CP-99 or Walther CP-88. I shall let you know if some of the dealers I know have anything like this product. It is always better if you can see the product before purchasing, unless some reputed dealer or a seller, (who has positive feedback from esteemed members here) can help you with the deal and the courier possibilities.
1. This Crossman 357W fires lead pellets, like the traditional air guns of 0.177 cal. It has a 10-shot rotary magazine.
2. The video you said which is uploaded i havent found the link here but from what you have mentioned about the chemical on the CO2 cylinder, it surely must be Pellgun Oil which they put a drop on the CO2 cylinder sometimes to keep the seals moist and to avoid drying of the seals.
3. If the product is available only there will they be able to tell if the accessories are available too or not because this is not a common CO2 revolver in the Indian markets. The pellets and CO2 powerlets are easily available all over India.
This is all I could tell you restricted to my little knowledge. There are many more knowledgeable members around here, hopefully they shall be able to help you a lot more.
Please feel free to contact me for any other queries you have. Do let me know your email id so I can send some videos or high res pics for your reference and a list of dealers who may be able to help you get what you want.
Regards:
Anees.
