Airgun Spring Compressor - available for a weekend?

Post by thomast1 » Fri Aug 13, 2010 9:28 am

I am doing some patch work (can't really call it tuning) on my old airgun, and i felt the need of a spring compressor.
I am sure there are a lot of DIY Entusiasts in Bangalore, so if any one can spare their spring Compressor for a weekend, it would be great.

i thought of making one, but felt there might be one of these with many of our fellow IFG'ians who can spare it..
Let me know if you can help me out. :)
(not posting in wanted section, as this is a borrow.... )

Which air rifle do you intend to work on ? You can use a car jack like the one shown below, as a spring compressor if you work slowly keeping your cool.

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.
