It must have good range about 100 mtrs effective if it is ligal and available in India ?

Hi Harsh
Before an air rifle is suggested you should ask yourself what is the objective

Do you want to kill vermin like rats and crows (only these two are allowed in India)
Do you want to get into serious target practice
Do you want to get into plinking

Do let us know your objective and then we should be in a better position to help you.

I am not sure about the range. A point to keep in mind is not only range but also accuracy and reliability.

Thans
Regards
Gaurav

Ok Go for National Spring action .22 cal
Now I will be surprised if you will be able to kill a rat or a crow from 100 m distance.

They are confusing meters with feet... so 120 feet would be approx 36 meters and 100 feet approx 30 meters. With the typical quality of locally made springers even those ranges (30-36 meters) may be slightly optimistic!

Cheers!

In case what you(Abhijeet) are saying is correct and I do not have any doubt in your verdict. I would not want to buy anything from an organization whose website is giving me shady info.

Harsh go for IHP rifle most of us who own an Indian air rifle use an IHP (National) gun and have found it better than other brands like Sisco.

Me too was also greatly confused on the claims made by National Air Arms that they sell air rifles which effectively hits targets at 120 mtrs. Thanks to mundaire for using his sense; confusing feet with mtr.
