Believe it or not.. was getting a little low on 9mm plinking ammo so loaded up about 1500 rounds..

The violet ones are 124 grain polymer covered lead bullets that do not require wax and can be shot at veloicties approachiing those of TMJ bullets.

Finally I dont think I have ever posted a pic of this one.. she has been feeling neglected.. so took her out to the range.

Loverly!

So you got the 45-70 home then.Planning to make a range report? Never seen the polymer jacketed pistol bullets before. How do they fare, accuracy, barrel fouling etc? Thanks for sharing.

Best-
Vikram

As long as you have allen keys that came with it, it is fairly straight forward. Without them very tricky.
I havent disassembled mine in a long while. When I need to clean it.. I just drop it into the ultrasonic cleaner for 10 minutes. Works like a charm.
After the bath a blow dry is in order. I do remove the grips before the bath though.

I like the one in the corner with the loooooong legs, well if they go boom, I like them all. I want to nuzzle her muzzle :), this is a "family" site, so I will keep the rest of the bar talk to myself. The polymer coated bullets, I can see how they could be a good idea, I had just seen the polymer tipped bullets, not fully coated. The "lines" (curves) on a Buckmark are unique and really like it.

All of them go boom or bang. Polymer coated bullets are becoming common.
Milsurp polymer coated bullets are very very common. I have posted pics of those earlier.

Vikram: Anecdotal evidence on accuracy and fouling. There is no leading and no real fouling beyond what would be normal with jacketed bullets. I personally have only just bought the first lot of Polymer coated bullets, and loaded them up. Havent had the chance to shoot them yet.
