Indians For Guns

Any recommendations on a reputable gun dealer in Pune or Mumbai? Want to explore the possibility of buying some good British era guns and taking them back to the US. Anyone know of someone that can help or shed light on the export requirements?

The only knowledgeable person I could recommend is Mr. Harish Melwani, owner of Messrs. Hassanand Hemandas & co.(Gun Dealer). He attends most of the gun shows and exhibitions in Europe on regular bases. Has a fine understanding of classy weapons, especially British made. Unfortunately, he has been also instrumental in exporting a large number of so called obsolete fire arms , the likes of H&H, Purdeys, Westley Richards, Charles Lancaster etc. He himself owns a fine Woodward shotgun and and has been refusing to part with it. An interesting and an educated fella as compared to the young Bori boys who've taken over their family gun business in Mumbai. I am sure you won't regret meeting him.

Mr. Mohd Bandookwala of "Aim Point" is also a reputed gunsmith in Pune. He's located at 'WonderLand' shopping complex, East street, Camp, Pune.
