Ferlach Gunsmithing school is probably the best in the world and guns that come out of here are of superb quality.

Yes, he'll probably return to India a 'god'....
I once considered (many years back) one of the US G-schools...but was kind of disappointed by the tendency of most setups in the US to more-or-less have that "Buy every thing from Brownells" attitude. .... which in effect is not very suitable for an Indian oriented gunsmith.

The good thing about the training is,from what I gathered from the video, they are trained to make every component of a firearm this enabling them to build a complete gun. Embellishing, perhaps, is done by more specialised craftsmen.
Is it too late or are there any tailor made programmes for people like you?Worth trying no?

All this German reminds me of this clip from Guy Ritchie's supreme effort thus far ''Snatch''. Watch it.

Why UK?... when Bro.Jonahs backyard will do...
...also notice that apart from gunsmithing, they also have a department of weapon engineering with a 5 year graduate course...I'm sure the Govt. of India can afford to support a couple of bright souls to learn something useful there... that may..just may add some mojo to the IOFB...maybe. of course that's assuming a civil-servant doesn't apply for the holiday...er... course.
