Hi Guys!
I got this on email. Thought I'd share it here.
The photos below capture the moment a bullet is fired and enters Ballistics Gel.
Note the gunpowder exiting the barrel of the pistol and the damage the shockwave from the bullet does to the ballistics gel.
Also note the shape of the bullet as it exits the gel, thats some mean expansion!
Have Fun!

My pleasure bros!
Looking at the ballistic gel gives me a gory picture of what happens when a bullet penetrates flesh.
And... what if it was a .577 TREX?? I dont think there'd be anything left to see...
Phew!

That's not a cartridge I'd like to shoot, even if I was paid for it!
Cheers!

Hmmm.. C'mon mate! the curiosity would get the better outta you. I'm sure you'd have a go. Even if it risked a dislocated shoulder.
But, for those of us with milder tastes, here's some food for thought:

I saw that bro. Where do you think I got the wicked idea? If the right end of that gun can outkick a mule, imagine being on the wrong end!
But I still stand by it, that given a chance you'd still have a go at it! wontcha?? Its like those exhibition rodeos mate. You try it and live to tell the tale!!!

@Sudhaoib: Do not include periods at the end when posting urls. Doing so will give you a malformed link error.
