Hello everyone,
Is there any official website/notification/forum where we can check the details regarding prohibited and non-prohibited arms and ammunition list?

No, this is not true. 12 bore pump action is used by Armed forces yet its not PB. You must have heard that ‘pellet gun’ is used in Kashmir, this pellet gun is nothing but 12 bore pump action gun.
Only ammo mentioned below are PB

The 12 bore the security forces use has a 18" barrel which is prohibited for civilians use ....20" is the minimum required barrel length for civilians.
So ammo is not the only criteria.........for eg if you have a fully automatic .22lr or 12 bore then it becomes illegal.
