I know, I know. Never gonna happen. Still would be an interesting thought exercise to see how we Indians might make some inroads into IPSC styled shooting. Any ideas on how we might go about accomplishing this? I'll start...
1. Chaps shooting centerfire pistol could probably make some inroads, especially renowned shots. However, since 9mm para is the minimum load for pistol, I wonder what cartridges might be used? 9mm IMI, 357 sig perhaps?
2. IPSC has shotgun events. Since semi-auto shotguns are now civi-legal, we could prolly try with them or PAGs perhaps.
3. Rifles - IPSC has a manual action open/standard event where 300 meter big bore competitors might find a fit.
I doubt we'll get govt support for competing in these events unless it makes it into the Olympics. But private sponsorships can always be attempted. Anyways, enough daydreaming, I am sure there're plenty of reasons why all of this will just be a pipe dream
