Indians For Guns

In India generally the licence is granted for state or all India . But my concern is weather it is possible to take the side arm to USA or UK legally ? I want to mention one thing specific the person who wants to carry the weapon is of general category common man .

Could you be more specific? Do you want to take your firearm from India to UK or USA?

In UK, one cannot carry handguns. Even possession is extremely restricted. So, a question about carrying a handgun does not arise. You can send it for repairs, I think, though UK is not the best place for handgun repairs.

In the US, you can carry but you would need a locally issued permit.

You cannot carry a firearm from India to the US.

You need to be a lot more specific to help us in coming up with answers.

Well sir I'll explain .

Consider I'm going to USA for a business meet or for just a tour for LA.
Weather it's possible to carry my side arm with me ?
Is the process of getting approval is easy ?

In the case you described, the answer is simple. You cannot.

As Vikram said, Non-Resident Aliens visiting the USA cannot purchase or carry a firearm.
There are some exceptions but they would not apply to you.

You would need a permit to import a firearm into the USA.
You would also need a permit to export a firearm from India.
Either one of the above is going to be hard to get.
