found this video on another forum, a very nice one from Trip Research.it shows the dynamics of shooting of a cut away 1911a1 type pistol plus that of a M16. i specialy like the movement of handgun in the hand after firing or muzzle flip. this reminds me of my tt33 cutaway which i sold very cheap but that money matter a lot at that day so no regert anyway.

Finally got around to checking this out... nice "slo-mo" video. Was particularly intrigued by the fact that the carbine first seems to eject the spent shell to the rear, against the receiver (not up and to the side as I would have expected) and only after hitting that does the shell actually "fly out"...
