This is awesome:
A TFB reader purchased a damaged EOTech very cheaply, then gutted the internals and replaced them with custom electronics.

Such a simple & solid idea but the kind of ingenuity to keep the fov clean of clutter yet available on demand is just brilliant. And truckloads of patience which these chaps usually have. The comments too is a real treasure trove.

Now all I have to do is get my aging eyes first find it - the reticle, and then through it! Just kidding!
