Indians For Guns

hi all members,
i have noticed that many of our more experienced members can identify the make of a rifle/shotgun/handgun/ammo just by looking at even a grainy pic. whereas less experienced people like me can not.
many members here are from India and don't have enough exposure to many weapons.
i hope to start a thread which acts as a catalogue for weapons of various makes.
i plan to start this thread in 3 categories rifles/ shot guns/ fine guns.
if mods, think fit/ good response, they may extend it to handguns/ ammo.

if we use photobucket etc, it wont take up much space and we could use the same post to point out distinguishing features of those weapons/ makes.
i request as many people as possible to contribute pics (own or from the net.) so that all members have a basic exposure to diff weapons as opposed to just the weapons owned by the members here.

Neither, I'm referring to all the Masala that we get to enjoy (sometimes) when the "know it alls" debate with the other "know it alls" about some stupid detail that nowhere furthers our sport, only their egos.

there are some good catalogues on the internet already. so may i humbly suggest that instead of spending time , effort, photobucket (or risk pissing off asif), to re invent the wheel, let's just post the links.
