I know that only .32" Calibre is legal for Civilians in India
It is incorrect information. Before jumping to conclusions or going by incorrect information, please take time to browse this forum and read the discussions. Almost everything that you are asking is already discussed in detail in this forum.

Let me try to reply each and every question you have asked

1.>Can I own 3 guns legally in India?I would like to own the .32 Revolver,.32 Pistol and any one of the guns that are provided by the Indian Ordinance Factories.
Ans - Yes you can own 3 guns if you get a license for it. If you become a renowned shot (that is a shooter who has attained a minimum score in national championship) then you can own unto 11 guns.
IOF provides .22 revolver and pistols, .22 rifles, ,32 rifles
There is non such rifle being made by IOFB . You mean the .315 and the 30.06 rifle.
The revolver and pistol is .32 and we also get a .22 revolver.
Please don't be so careless while teaching others. Mod

2.>What is the exact procedure of getting a gun License in India?I have searched much but I cannot find any suitable answers.
Ans -You need to submit a form to DCP License in your state if you are from New Delhi then the form is available online

3.>Can I import a .32 Calibre Pistol? I know that only .32" Calibre is legal for Civilians in India and I would like very much to own the KelTec P32 Pistol which is also .32" in Calibre.
The link to the site is : http://www.keltecweapons.com/our-guns/pistols/p-32/
Ans - Yes you can import a gun if you are a renowned shot in the said event. I think the only sport which allows .32 pistol is 50 m free pistol but I could be wrong
Yes, you are very wrong. Free pistol is shot with a .22 pistol.
.32 pistol is used in the centerfire pistol. Mod

4.>I would also like to learn Trap and Skeet Shooting. Are any of the Rifles provided by the Indian Ordinance Factories suitable for the above purpose?
The link is : http://ofb.gov.in/index.php?wh=Sporting%20Arms&lang=en
Ans - You do not use a rifle for trap you use a shot gun.
Pshew. One correct answer, finally. Mod

5.>Can I use a .22" round in a .32" gun?
Most of the time you cant use a .22 in a .32. Not most of the time, always. When you do the conversion that you are talking of, one usesthe same frame but the barrel and housing and magazine changes. In fact it becomes a .32 or a .22. Mod
Now from your questions I get a feeling you want to learn competitive shooting.

Then you should understand the following
1. Indian made guns are not even remotely good for what you want to so
2. The pistols and revolvers are not allowed for anything except rapid fire event all other events need guns which allow loading 1 round at a time
3. You need to decide if you want to do rifle / pistol or shotgun
4. I would strongly suggest the following
a. Start by learning to shoot 10 m air events
b. Join you state / district rifle club
c. Play some matches and Import your first air rifle or pistol

5. Once you have learnt the basics then you can plan to move to .22 and then .32

If one does want to pursue competitive rifle shooting Indian made rifles both small bore (IOF 0.22) and big bore ( IOF 30.06) can do a decent job. Both rifles can take you to at least the pre nationals - with you doing your part of course. 30.06 being far superior based on what I have heard on this forum.

SS

Dear SS
With all regards to your experience I do not agree. Pre nationals like MV has minimum score and given the quality of these weapons I am quite sure one will not obtain the min score.

I would rather take a weapon from a friend and quality for pre nationals.

Having said this I did see many people using IOF rifles in GV Mv this time and I dont think there scores were comparable.
