Indians For Guns

Hello friends,

A friend has moved to Delhi for work. Born and brought up in Mumbai- she lived in London for a few years. Right now she's away from her family, and she's alone in Delhi.

She asked me where could she learn to handle firearms- and then apply for a license. Need to know if she has option to join DSRA or Dr. Karni Singh club- or could IFG Delhi help her.

yes she can join Dr. karni range club. this is very important to handle firearms . They can help her to get know the procedure to get a licence.

AT- the answer to all your questions is yes. Though you might want to go through various discussions in the legal section that'll help understand the process of applying for a license..

getting a membership of DSRA can be picked up from their website. If there are specific questions regarding any of the process you can ask. Most information is already available on this forum.

Shimon sharif teaches weapons handling courses. No one at the kani singh ranges teaches anything.
Go to him. That would be your friends best bet

I am not from Delhi and I am away from India since past many years so can't really comment but I just want to say this, Kudos to the girl who wants to learn firearms handling and safety, may she never feel the need to use it except target shooting.
