Has anyone tried 'duracoat fire-arm finish? It is available in a range of colours, and much more durable than blueing! Check this out

Duracoat is good stuff if done correctly. The biggest problem that people have is due to inadequate degreasing. Degrease it and then degrease it again. If the instructions are followed faithfully, the finish is very durable. It is tougher than blueing by a long shot.
My daughters handgun is Duracoated.
