. If God someday appeared before me and granted me a few boons......the pics of the 1911 you have posted would surely be on that list.

The Kimber while nice is too bling...
If my finance minister allowed me to spend the equivalent of 2 Lakhs in one go, I would definetely be getting more than one gun. Or maybe I would splurge it all on a March scope..

I will take the bling any day over a ''vintage NIB'' Bubbly and Scotch.
Actually, I may buy many guns than just one like you.
But,$4K on one scope? Sorry, will have to pass it on.

God will definitely grant not just few but plenty of boons if we help and strengthen NAGRI so that firearm laws are rationalized and imports opened up.

Keep in mind the wonderful Unique .32 acp pistols that everyone is happy to shell out 3 Lakhs plus for a used one, actually costs about 80 Euros used. I do know the owners of Unique quite well, or more correctly FMR-Unique, and every time I meet them, we try and figure out ways to get more of them into India, legally.
The finish, is actually fire hardening or fire finsihing I believe. Not very knowledgeable on finishes, since I care more about how it shoots than bling.

That's nothing compared to my friends Spanish made EA Basque .32 which he bought for Rs.200k....
Its small and can be hidden away very easily, it resembles James Bonds older gun and it makes big sound when firing and the empty shell automatically comes out while doing so....and the best part is it is Spanish made....

Color case hardening.
-Packed in carbon rich material like bone charcoal, charred leather, often cyanide rich material, then sealed in an airtight cast iron/steel box and then fired up to about 1400degrees for several hours.
Quite unusual to see them in a pistol. Very pretty nevertheless.
