Loading up some .45-70 ammo for you. Hope you're ready..
L-R 500 grain lead, 475 grain BP, 475 grain gas checked, 405 grain, 300 grain gas checked, and 300 grain HP jacketed
The ones on top are smokeless loads, while the ones below are 500 grain lead bullets over 65 grains of Swiss 3 FG powder.
Hope you have a good solution for a sore shoulder..

I would love to see him get through 500 grain bullets over 65 grains of BP. It is fairly punishing. Also have a few 'hot' 475 grain cartridges loaded up.

Looking forward to it MOA. in preperation I shot 350 1 ounce 12b loads recently (in 1 session).
I know its not the same but its a warm up

Well the gun is zeroed tot he 300 grain laod. Had another damn misfire and jammed the bullet in the rifling. Powder all over the place. Seem to have an iffy lot of primers. Same lot that let me down in comp recently.
