I don't think any section of Arms Act is getting violated! Yes all kinds of information is freely available on the internet. If they don't have any copyright issues and you want to share, why don't you upload them on some file sharing website and put the link here.

The 'illegal' part would be the pdfs being mostly scanned/pirated ones.

Out of the goodness of your heart? Nice though there

I suppose one way would be to post them in a file sharing site like rapidshare and post the links here. However, most of these sites are paid, or have a very limited allowance for free usage.

The simplest way is to announce you have the e book which you are willing to share, and let people e mail you. However, it can be extremely tiring, as people start queueing up for freebies.

I was about to phrase the last remark "as Indians start queueing up for freebies", then I realised I've seen the British queue up for free food...refilling their plates again, then again, then again ..... (without knowing or caring who the host is)

The digital issues are free for download on the respective websites of the magazines referred above.

There is nothing illegal in the matter.

I download this magazines for reading regularly every month.

I asked people to pm their e mail and emailed them the info I had on stock, woodwork and stock bedding etc. Tedious, but people got it
