Re: Firearms negligence
nice collection, very illustrative - formal training very important with guns.
I'm sick of these guys who coming at shooting range and pointing their guns on everyone. Especially bad during competitions.
it is like with learning driving a car, some people never can learn and never drive.
I think earlier child learn to shoot and all basic handling and safety is better. I learned to shot and drive at 7, my daughter, 7 now, and she shooting Condor at shooting range at least once in a week and learning driving too.
I made accidental discharge only once in my life at about age of 12 from 12g, no one were hurt, but that was one of the scariest things ever happens with me.

Re: Firearms negligence
i will recount a scary experience i once had.
shooting double trap with another fellow. i was waiting for him to finish from the center, when he suddenly turned towards me to clarify something with both his barrels loaded, the safety off and the finger half on the trigger, and pointed at my stomach.
i damn near shat my pants.
told him calmly to point it downrange and then stopped firing till he finished. never paired with him again and asked the range personnel to have a chat with him.
and this didnt happen eons ago, it was 2 months ago!

Just as you would be vary as to whom you would have a drink with, one has to be extremely careful with whom you shoot. A week or so ago I was out shooting with my bro-in-law, when he broke the 'gun line'. Gave him hell after that.
Justice alone is the mainstay of government and the source of prosperity to the governed, injustice is the most pernicious of things; it saps the foundations of the government and brings ruin upon the realm - Sher Shah Sur, Sultan-ul-Adil.
