A Sunday's evening at Pran's place.

It was more of a spur of the moment decision to go plinking at Pran's place. There were a few air-rifles, a rimfire rifle and a shotgun and accompanying them were Pran (henceforth to be known as 'Linesman' and 'Can Boy'), Inder, IcemanV, TenX and myself.

The most fun was had with shooting the rimfire at beer cans. It started off with shooting four cans with four shots at 25 yards within one minute but when my time came around, I thought it could be done in 15 seconds and since I was able to manage it everyone wanted to shoot within 15 seconds, so this is what we did, first from 25 yards and then from 50 yards. If the price and availability of ammo was not an issue, I think this could really be turned into a fun sort of match. Infact next time I am thinking of doing the same with an obstacle course thrown in.

Here are a few pics that were taken this evening.

Thanks for the laughs and next time I would prefer a flask of hot tea or ice cold lemonade or better still sugarcane juice at the end of the shoot ;)

.. or 'Drunken Coffee', thanks to Can-Boy :)

We also shot (atleast tried to shoot) flying bricks :) The bricks managed to get away, thanks to sun-down...

Completely forgot about the shotgun part. There wasn't much time for that but I will import one of those cheap clay throwing machines and have ourselves some fun and practice.

No sweat on the ammo front but it would be cheaper if we did this at KSRA. Inder get your membership.

.. and I guess we should also have a 'kitty' where everyone contributes for the shotgun rounds atleast...

See edit message above.

There are only so many rounds I can hold at one time. So, unless they increase my quota there wont be much of this happening if we don't shoot at the range.

P.S.: Aren't you supposed to be studying? I think I will suspend your IFG account until 12th October.

Mack The Knife,

Nice to see that you were not made to walk back home to improve your health

And I am studying.. taking breaks for tea and smokes every 30-40 minutes... And these messages puts away my study-sleep for a while... :)

BTW, saw Linesman online a few minutes ago.. wonder where he disappeared!

Still.. whatever be your quota, the market price of your shotgun rounds are not too cheap to be 'taken for granted'... thats what I meant...

I am not getting on the scales to verify that. I shall trust your judgement.

If I want the cash, I'll tell you guys. Let's just leave it at that.

You think so? I thought they could do with a little more exercise. I am really warming to this idea of an obstacle course.

Night guys! Got to be up at six.
