Just checked. The Commissioner of police is the President of the Chennai rifle club and Mr Sivandhi Adityan is the honorary secretary of the club. He is the owner of the Daily Thanthi newspaper, a fact known by all. In fact, it is Mr Adityan's efforts that has taken the Chennai rifle club to new heights. He has contributed a lot with regard to shooting sports in the state.

What is this Tamilnadu Shooting Association? Will a membership there help in any way regarding Club membership/shooting permit/air pistol import ?

looks like we are going to have to START a rifle club in vellore....have to look around and see who will be interested and what it will cost....

Im looking for info on the Association. I visited the said address a few days back but was told that no such club/association operates there. Can anyone guide me with detailed info or a correct contact info?

Is it too expensive to join? Old posts indicate membership costs upto 1,00,000 INR. Is it still the same?
