Rules forming district Rifle club or association, n Range

Hi All,

My apology if this is a repeat I didnt search but didnt find.

Any insight on rules/process/permissions for
1. Forming a Rifle club or association at district level associated with NRAI
2. Setting up a private range at personal property, open to local shooters (Distance dream but)

You should get in touch with the NRAI directly in this regard. The "affiliation" is basically a membership in the NRAI just like an individuals membership, except there would be more rules and regulations on the same lines as the NRAI conducts its affairs. I imagine when it is registered with the State/district authorities they will require you to get some sort of additional certification or such from the NRAI.
The creation of a usable Range will be independent of the association/club I guess. The conduction of competitions would very likely have to be under the NRAI's auspices.
Anyway I am only guessing all the above for what its worth.

I will pay the visit to NRAI anyway. Was just wondering if someone here already this.
Answer from NRAI is like go there on Weekdays's only, Senior officer there available or not.

But yes since they are the ultimate authority here will check with them.

Have you checked the process to start a club?

Please let us know if you have information on this. We do not have a club nearby, but I have land in which I can construct a range, if I can get permission to start.
