SOME INFORMATION NEEDED!!!!
I have downloaded the NRAI application form and I am interested in the lifetime membership. What i want to know is after I submit the duly filled form and make the required payment, how long do I need to wait for my membership approval? I mean, will i get my membership within a week or do i need to wait for a few months or so?
Also, if I become a member of NRAI, will i get any benefits? Can I import air guns and accessories from abroad? And, do i need to pay extra taxes or will they be duty free?
And are there any other benefits of joining the NRAI?
Please reply guys.....i'll e really glad for your help!!!

gunner007,
the therad on NRAI membership should answer all your questions; It may take up to 4 months; the benfits are:
1.Cheaper ammo if you live in Delhi.
2.Getting a .22 rifle as 4th firearm for target practice (or a .22 rifle as first firearm)
3.Easier increase in ammunition quota
4.Easier change to All India Validity
5.Permission to import .177 Air Rifle & pellets via courier/post
6.Exemption from having to deposit firearms during elections
Regards,
Anand
