Time we got serious about lowering our crime rate too!

nice one mate, hard to believe that such a government who supply ammo and guns AND is NOT Afraid of its people.

but hard to achieve since we have renowned criminals in government. and others who are not in government but support criminals to be armed and law abiding citizen to be unarmed.

still one can hope

The anti's are at work in Switzerland also. Quote: "Launched in February by the centre-left Social Democratic Party and a number of pacifist organisations, the initiative calls for army weapons to remain in barracks and for a national gun register to be created. But the Swiss govt. rejected that proposal.

Nice one - before Swiss were known / (in)famous for their banking system they were well respected for their fighting prowess. Hence the reason why Pope's guards are from Swiss. They are simply carrying on their great tradition and should to survive next to France and Germany and Italy. Unfortunately our govt is doing away with such martial traditions from India..

Lets forget of Importing Arms and Ammo from Out of India and lets import some of the Guys from Swiss Govt, who have rejected the above mentioned policy and provide them the opportunity to govern in India. Hope they will put some sense in the Babu's.
