Hi,
One of my friends in orkut Mr. Rahul Mehta (who is an IIT Delhi grad and MS from Rutgers university) tried to post a pro-gun ad in TOI. Times legal department refused to take the ad because of its pro gun stance. Rahul has started a party in Gujarat and he hold meetings with intellectuals and general public to inform them about advantages of gun ownership. You can read about the party here

A quick glance through the website and I can't see the RKBA demand there. Some of his demands are pretty revolutionary.
But if I'm not mistaken; by law a publication accepting advertisements cannot refuse an advertisement as long as the advertisement does not violate any law. However, many big name publications routinely refuse to print and publish advertisements, especially when their business or other interests are in danger.

Without browsing through the entire website (which I will do later) or commenting on anything about the initiative(s), one simple question that comes to mind is- Why can't the advertisment be put in some other newspaper?
