That's a nicely written post. All the logic given is accurate and convincing enough to make an anti gun person to think hard about it.

Beautiful thoughts.....makes me wonder why these thoughts do not appeal to our babus and the men selling their souls for 1-2-3 Crs! I know people who have been in some of the situations mentioned in this post and had to run away or bear some kind of loss because theire assailants/opposition were armed and they were not.
Maybe someone could put these points across to the powers that be.....and get some changes done to our archaic arms laws!

The stuff is very profound - i wonder why all the anti-gun crowd never uses any logic when presenting their arguments.

Interestingly he's a keen shooter himself (skeet), and IIRC regularly placed quite well in the NSCC's (shotguns events). Also his other family members seem to be equally into shooting sports (brother, daughter etc.).
However, we have yet to see any shooter/ gun enthusiast friendly policies instituted at the OFB...
